In 2018, Ulla Kölving and Andrew Brown published a long-awaited new critical edition of Du Châtelet’s correspondence. Regarded as a “scholarly compendium of the highest value” (Ertz 721), this significant two-volume edition comprises six hundred and eighty-six letters (the nine letters in the subsections are numbered as if within the corpus), shared between ninety-five correspondents (only eleven of whom are women), and written between 4 January 1733 and 1 September 1749.
