The Golden Legend, published by Faber in 2017, is the fifth novel by the acclaimed British Pakistani writer Nadeem Aslam. In the UK, Aslam is perhaps best known for his second work of fiction, Maps for Lost Lovers (2004), which tells the controversial tale of a so-called honour crime which takes place in an unnamed English town within a close-knit migrant British Asian community.
