Voltaire’s l’Ingénu is divided into twenty chapters:

IV. L’Ingénu baptisé [Ingenuous Baptised]
V. L’Ingénu amoureux [Ingenuous in Love]
VI. L’Ingénu court chez sa maîtresse, et devient furieux [Ingenuous Runs to See His Mistress, and Becomes Furious]
