The Young Visiters, or, Mr Salteenas Plan is a comic novella by the juvenile author Daisy Ashford. Written in 1890 when she was nine, it was discovered and published, with all its spelling errors, in 1919. The book became a best-seller and generated a high-profile debate about its authenticity. It has remained continuously in print, and has been adapted as a play, musical, film, and television drama.
