The Bicameral Critic, a selection of essays edited by the Australian academic and Wilson scholar Howard F. Dossor (author of Colin Wilson, the man and his mind. Shaftesbury: Element Books, 1990), was published simultaneously by Ashgrove Press (Bath, UK) and Salem House (Salem, NH, USA) in 1985. A Japanese translation, by Fuso-Sha of Tokyo, appeared in 1987. It brings together, in book form, sixteen essays by Wilson, all of which had previously been published elsewhere, with an Introduction by Dossor. These essays were carefully selected to reveal the breadth of Wilson’s interests and the philosophical thread that links them all together.
