Wilson’s short study of Carl Gustav Jung (1865-1961) was first published on April 26, 1984 by the Aquarian Press (Wellingborough, UK). It was reprinted in 1988 under the title C. G. Jung: Lord of the Underworld and appeared that year in the US (San Bernardino: The Borgo Press). French, Finnish, German, Dutch and Swedish editions, among others, have also, at various times, been available. It was the second in a series of short, largely biographical, studies written by Wilson for Aquarian on important non-mainstream thinkers: The War Against Sleep: the philosophy of Gurdjieff [Georges Ivanovich Gurdjieff (1866?-1949)] had appeared in 1980 and studies of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) and P(yotr) D(…
