Alexander Cuza, Prince of Romania, is dethroned, and is succeeded by Charles, Prince of Hohenzollern (who is recognised by Sultan of Turkey Oct. 24th). He will become king in 1881 - King Carol I - when the Romanian principality was raised to a Kingdom.
