On 29 March, Julius Rosenberg, his wife, Ethel, and Morton
Sobell were found guilty of conspiracy to commit wartime espionage.
The Rosenbergs were executed on 19 June. Sobell, by contrast, was
sentenced to 30 years. He was released in 1969.
