A Greek lexicon which treated Athenian words or Athenian cultural and political realia of the classical era mainly found in the works of Athenian orators [edition of the text by Bekker 1814: 197-318]. Today the manuscript tradition of this lexicon consists of only one manuscript, namely Coislin. gr. 345. The identity of the compiler is unknown.

The composition date of the Lexeis Rhetorikai [from now on: LRh] is also unknown, but in all probability it seems to be a lexicon older than that of Photius.
