Adolphe Thiers forms a second ministry in France, returning to the post of Prime Minister, but this ministry lasts less than a year, collapsing on 28th October. His support for Mehemet Ali of Egypt led France dangerously close to warfare with other European powers, which was not part of Louis-Philippe's plans for the country.
