France and the Holy Roman Empire sign the Second Treaty of Versailles. By the terms of this document, they agree to a partition of Prussia, in which it will lose Silesia and Glatz to the Empire. Louis XV agrees to increase annual subsidies to Maria Theresa of Austria, and the Netherlands will be granted to Don Philip, Louis' son-in-law.
