France signs a secret treaty with Prussia. According to its terms, on the death of Elector Palatine Charles Philip, the duchies of Jülich-Berg are to be shared between the Sulzbach line and Prussia. In this document, therefore, France contradicts the secret agreement made with the Empire three months previously.
