Spain, France and Britain sign the Treaty of Seville. This agreement takes Spain away from her alliance with the Holy Roman Empire. It plans the suppression of the Austrian East India Company and for the accession of Don Carlos to Parma and Tuscany. The Dutch republic later joins the alliance.
