The Treaty of Preobrazhenskoe, signed between Denmark, Russia, Saxony and Poland, seeks to partition the Swedish empire. Its aim is to demolish Swedish dominance in northern central and eastern Europe. It is, however, soon followed by the outbreak of the Great Northern War in 1700.
