The Truce of Ratisbon forms a peace between the Emperor Leopold I (attempting to focus on war against the Ottomans) and Louis XIV of France, for 20 years. The terms allow the French to retain all the areas of the Spanish Netherlands that had been assigned to them by the Chambers of Reunion, including Luxembourg and Strasbourg, while Courtrai and Diksmuide are returned to Spain.
