Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II signs a treaty at Munich with Duke Maximilian of Bavaria. Ferdinand promises that if Frederick V, Elector Palatine is placed under the ban of the Empire, Maximilian will be invested with the electoral title. In return, Maximilian agrees to support the Ferdinand's decisions in the Empire.
