Bourbon and Habsburg brides are exchanged at the northern Spanish city of Burgos, after proxy marriages between Louis XIII and Anne of Austria, and Philip of Asturias with Elizabeth of Bourbon. After these marriages have been solidified, France halts its interference with Catholic policy in Germany.
