The English Parliament meets, sitting until 18th July, and settles the succession on the future children of Henry by Jane Seymour, thus nullifying the previous Act of Succession of 1534, which granted it to the issue of Anne Boleyn. This new Act declares both Princesses Mary and Elizabeth to be illegitimate.
