Christian II of Denmark attempts to invade Norway by sea, but his plans are scuppered by a storm that scatters his fleet. He was forced to abdicate his kingship eight years earlier, in the face of popular opposition, and the throne was now occupied by his uncle, Duke Frederick of Schleswig-Holstein.
