Holy Roman Emperor Charles V delegates control of more Hapsburg territories to his brother, Archduke Ferdinand of Austria. By the Treaty of Brussels, Ferdinand takes charge of family possessions in south-west Germany and the Tyrol, and his responsibilities in central Europe granted in April 1521 are confirmed.
