Christian II of Denmark and Norway, aided by an army of mercenaries, defeats a Swedish force under Sten Sture at Lake Asunden. Victory at this Battle of Bogesund helped Christian II in his campaign to conquer Sweden, a feat he eventually achieved later that year.
