France and Spain sign the Peace of Noyon. It agrees that Francis I will retain Milan but renounce his claim to Naples. A marriage is arranged between King Charles of Spain and Francis' daughter Princess Louise. both kings pledge themselves to force Maximilian I to renounce his claims to Brescia and Verona.
