War of succession between Bavaria and the Palatinate, on the death of George, Duke of Bavaria-Landshut, over who should inherit his title and lands. The Duke named his daughter Elizabeth his heir, but this contravened an agreement he had made with the Duke of Bavaria-Munich, and therefore war broke out between the claimants, lasting until 1505.
