English Parliament meets at Westminster (until 22 Dec). The legislation it passed includes a new treason law, which cleared up residual uncertainty. This followed Henry VII's decision to backdate the start of his reign to the day before the Battle of Bosworth, enabling him to prosecute for treason all those men who fought against him there. The new law declared that actions which serve a de facto king could not subsequently be interpreted as treasonable. In the same session, Parliament also passed an Act against vagabonds and beggars.
