Lucretia Borgia, illegitimate daughter of Rodrigo Borgia (Pope Alexander VI), marries Giovanni Sforza of Pesano. This marriage was annulled in 1497 as her father and brothers found that Sforza no longer gave them the political advantage they sought, marrying Lucrezia instead to Alfonso of Aragon, Duke of Bisceglie.
