Henry VII of England invades France. This was not a terrible serious invasion attempt, since autumn was not an auspicious time to begin a military campaign, but it fulfilled its purpose. It forced the French to sign the Treaty of Etaples, by which they promised to halt their support of Perkin Warbeck and pay Henry VII a war indemnity that increased his income by almost half.
