Hari Kunzru is a British author and journalist who came to wide public attention following the publication of his 2002 novel The Impressionist. To date he has published three novels and a collection of short stories, and is an active contributor to the Guardian and Mute Magazine. He has also written several notable articles for the magazine Wired, and currently fills the post of Deputy President on the board of English PEN, an organization which campaigns for freedom of expression, and supports the rights of persecuted writers across the globe.
