François Archambault is primarily a dramatist, occasionally directing premières of his work. He has written seventeen plays to-date, some including lyrics (La Montagne [The Mountain] in 1997 and Code 99 in 1999), and one, C'est devenu gros [It's Grown Big], co-authored with Marie-Hélène Thibault in 2000. His work has been translated into English, Scottish [sic], German, and Italian, and his versatility of style includes comedy, satire, dramatic comedy [sic], drama, poetic theatre, and allegory (www.aqad.qc.ca).
