As one of the most notable Pakistani Anglophone novelists, Uzma Aslam Khan stands out in prominence because of the variety of themes that she has addressed in her fiction, as well as the stylistic diversity that she is capable of. With her consummate skill in creating characters that are complicated and relatable, Khan has the ability to address a plethora of issues impacting the country of her birth and the world in general too. Her five novels, The Story of Noble Rot (2001), Trespassing (2003), The Geometry of God (2008) Thinner than Skin (2012) and The Miraculous True History of Nomi Ali (2019). have all earned critical acclaim.
