Joaquim Monzó i Gómez, known as Quim Monzó, is one of Catalonia’s most celebrated and influential living authors, as well as being a well-known public figure owing to his participation in several radio and television programmes. He has published eight short-story collections, three novels and eleven volumes of journalistic opinion pieces.
