Tendai Huchu is the author of many short stories and two novels that embrace a large variety of different styles and genres. In 2010 he published his first novel The Hairdresser of Harare to critical and popular acclaim and has since completed his second novel, The Maestro, The Magistrate & The Mathematician (2014). Huchu’s versatile writing and perceptive depictions of both contemporary Scotland and Zimbabwe have instantaneously made him a successful writer whose novels are read in a number of countries and translations.
