Akachi Adimora-Ezeigbo is an academic scholar and creative writer in African Literature. In blending these two professions together, she has produced a vast oeuvre, with a focus on gender, culture and children’s literature. Adimora-Ezeigbo has published numerous academic papers and book chapters locally and internationally, written short stories and poetry that are part of many anthologies and published approximately 48 books, 22 of which are books for children, while more are in press. She has also been a member of the editorial board for two newspapers in Lagos, The Independent and The Post Express, where she wrote editorials and feature articles regularly.
