Sarah Daniels was born in 1956 in London. With more than twenty stage plays published since 1981, most of them produced in major London venues, with her extensive work for television series (Grange Hill, East Enders), and more than thirty scripts and adaptations for BBC Radio, Sarah Daniels is a major figure of the British scene. Her multi-faceted talent deserves attention. From Ma’s Flesh is Grass and Ripen Our Darkness (1981) to Left in Trust (BBC Radio 4, June 2012) she has been unanimously considered as one of the wittiest and most gifted of contemporary dramatists.
