Dr William Baker is Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Northern Illinois University, Co-Editor of Year's Work in English Studies [English Association: OUP], Co-Editor of George Eliot-George Henry Lewes Studies, Book Review Editor, Advisor, STYLE [PennState UP] and Distinguished Chair Qiantang River Professor, Hangzhou Normal University, Hangzhou, PRChina. He is the author, co-author or editor of over thirty refereed monographs and over 150 refereed articles. His main interests are Shakespeare, Victorian, Twentieth Century and beyond British Literature, Drama and Bibliography.
