Carlo Baja Guarienti

Carlo Baja Guarienti studied at the Università di Ferrara and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa; he was Frances A. Yates fellow at the Warburg Institute and adjunct professor in the universities of Ferrara and Modena. He is currently research fellow at the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia. His work focuses on the political and cultural history of the early modern age. Among his publications: Il bandito e il governatore. Domenico d’Amorotto e Francesco Guicciardini nell’età delle guerre d’Italia, Roma, Viella, 2014, and Conquistare la montagna. Storia di un'idea, Milano, Bruno Mondadori, 2016 (with Matteo Al Kalak).
