Sarker Hasan Al Zayed

Sarker Hasan Al Zayed is Associate Professor at the Department of English and Modern Languages at Independent University Bangladesh (IUB). He has received his PhD degree from the State University of New York, Albany, and B.A. (Hons) and M. A. degrees from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka. A bilingual writer, Zayed's academic and creative works have appeared in national and international journals and books. His translation of British academic Ian Almond's The Thought of Nirad C. Chowdhury has been published by the University Press Limited (UPL). His works have also appeared in South Asian Review, Journal of Third World Studies, Six Seasons Review, Crossings and other journals/anthologies.
