Masud Mahmood

Masud Mahmood retired in 2018 as professor of English, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He published his book Launched into Eternity: A Study of Emily Dickinson’s Poems and Letters (2009) and co-authored Selected Poems of Abul Hasan (1993). He published a book of verse titled Listening to Me (2012). Another book of verse Near the Sea is awaiting publication from the UniversityPress Limited, Bangladesh. He also published poems in The Daily Star, The Dhaka Tribune, and The Bangla Academy Journal besides articles in academic journals on modern and Nineteenth-century British and American literature.
