D. C. Ranjan Alwis Goonetilleke

D.C R.A. Goonetilleke, Emeritus Professor of English of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, is a well-established critic of twentieth-century and postcolonial literature, and the leading authority on Sri Lankan literature in English. His 23 books include Sri Lankan English Literature ad the Sri Lankan People 1917-2003 (Colombo: Vijitha Yapa, 2nd edn. 2007), Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness (London & New York, Routledge, 2007) and Salman Rushdie (London & New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2nd edn. 2010).
