Alberto Fernandez Carbajal
I hold a Licenciatura in English Philology from the University of Oviedo (Spain), an MA in Postcolonial Literary and Cultural Studies and a PhD in English Literature from the University of Leeds. I am currently Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the School of Arts, University of Leicester, where I lead the project 'Queer Diasporas: Islam, Homosexuality and a Micropolitics of Dissent'. I have taught at the Universities of Leeds, York St John, Edge Hill and Leicester. I am consultant for ARIEL (A Review of International English Literature) and a peer reviewer for the Journal of Commonwealth Literature.
