Marko Pavlyshyn

Marko Pavlyshyn (b. Brisbane, Australia, 1955) is Professor of Ukrainian Studies at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He is the author of Kanon ta ikonostas [Canon and Iconostasis] (Kyiv, 1997) and Ol’ha Kobylians’ka: Prochytannia [Ol’ha Kobylians’ka: Interpretations] (Kharkiv, 2008), articles and chapters on modern and contemporary Ukrainian literature, and translations from the Ukrainian into English of Yuri Andrukhovych’s Rekreatsii [Recreations] (Edmonton, 1998) and Yuri Izdryk’s Votstsek [Wozzeck] (Edmonton, 2006). He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
