Jacob Claflin

Jacob Claflin is a PhD. candidate at Idaho State University where he is currently writing his dissertation titled “‘Mar no more of my verses with reading': Multimodal Poetics and Shakespeare.” He has a Master of Letters in Shakespeare Pedagogy and a Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Renaissance Dramaturgy from Mary Baldwin University. Along with Shakespeare Scholarship, Jacob has done a fair amount of theatre work including dramaturgy, directing, and acting. He grew up in Ashland Oregon on the doorstep of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
