Sarah Ilott

Sarah Ilott is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Teesside, UK. Her PhD thesis, entitled 'Desiring Postcolonial Britain: Genre Fiction since The Satanic Verses' was completed in 2012. She continues to work on postcolonial British fiction and film, particularly focussing on genre, and has wider research interests in postcolonial Gothic, multicultural comedy and Indian literature in English.
