Aislinn Melchior

Aislinn Melchior is an Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Puget Sound. She has undergraduate degrees in both English and Classics from the University of Washington in Seattle (1998) and earned her PhD in Classics at the University of Pennsylvania (2004). She has published on Cicero’s Pro Milone, the Bellum Africum, and on the question of whether Roman soldiers suffered from PTSD. Her ongoing work continues to engage with issues of violence and its representation in both literary and historical authors.
