Helen Rachel Cousins

Helen Cousins is a Reader in Postcolonial Literature at Newman University, Birmingham, UK. Her PhD from the University of Birmingham, UK focused on African feminism and African women writers and she continues to publish work in this area. More recently, her main research interest is in contemporary Black British literature.
