Belén Martín-Lucas
Belén Martín-Lucas teaches Postcolonial and Diasporic Film and Literatures at the U. of Vigo, Spain. Her research focuses on the politics of resistance in contemporary postcolonial feminist fiction, looking at the diverse strategies employed in literary works, such as tropes and genres. She has coedited several volumes on globalization and nationalisms from postcolonial perspectives. Her most recent publication is Transnational Poetics. Asian Canadian Women’s Fiction of the 90s, with Pilar Cuder Domínguez and Sonia Villegas López (Toronto: TSAR, 2011). She is currently director of the international research project “Globalized Cultural Markets: the Production, Circulation and Reception of Difference” funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
