Katharine Burkitt

Katharine Burkitt teaches in the English Department at University of Liège in Belgium. She wrote her PhD on the relationship between literary form and postcolonial critique at University of Salford, UK. It was awarded in 2007. Her research interests remain in that area, and she has recently published on the work of Bernardine Evaristo, Les Murray, Michael Ondaatje, Anne Carson and Derek Walcott. She is currently preparing a monograph for publication with Ashgate under the title, Literary Form as Postcolonial Critique: Epic for the Contemporary World.
