Paul Scott

Paul Scott is associate professor of French at the University of Kansas. He is French and Occitan editor of The Year's Work in Modern Language Studies and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. His research focuses on different forms of subversion in the Ancien RĂ©gime and recent publications include a critical edition of the Miliade (Modern Humanities Research Association, 2010) which resolves the long-standing mystery surrounding the satire's authorship, date, and publication history.
