Maria Grazia Di Paolo

Maria Grazia Di Paolo is Professor of Italian Literature and Chair of the Department of Languages and Literatures at Lehman College,C.U.N.Y. She received her Master and Ph.D. from Columbia University where she was a Faculty Fellow. Her area of specialization is in Modern and Contemporary Italian Literature and Cinema. She is the author of the volume entitled Beppe Fenoglio. Fra tema e simbolo (1988), editor of Gabriele d’Annunzio. Carteggio inedito con il figlio Veniero (1994), and translator of Fenoglio’s novel Una questione privata (A Private Matter, 1988). Moreover, she has presented scores of papers in the United States and abroad and has contributed numerous articles to various publications on authors such as Pulci, D’Annunzio, Pirandello, Lampedusa, Betti, Silone, Fenoglio, and Visconti.
