Rebecca Jennings

Rebecca Jennings is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Modern History, Macquarie University, Sydney. She obtained her PhD from the University of Manchester in 2003 and went on to work there as a Lecturer in Women's History until 2006. She specialises in British and Australian lesbian history and has published two books, Tomboys and Bachelor Girls: A lesbian history of postwar Britain (MUP, 2007) and A Lesbian History of Britain (Greenwood Press, 2007) in addition to a number of articles in scholarly journals. Since 2006 she has been working on a new project on the lesbian history of Sydney.
