Sara Jayne Steen

Sara Jayne Steen is President and Professor of English at Plymouth State University and formerly served as Professor of English, Chair of the Department of English, and Dean of the College of Letters and Science at Montana State University. She is the author or editor of five books, including The Letters of Lady Arbella Stuart (New York: Oxford University Press, 1994) and volumes on early modern playwrights Thomas Middleton and Richard Brome. She has served as guest editor of special issues of Shakespeare Quarterly and Quidditas and authored well over a hundred articles, book chapters, and conference presentations. She has received honors for scholarship, teaching, and the creative integration of the two.
